Breaking Ground.

We are set to break ground next month. We have the site prepped with our construction fence and the excavator is getting ready to start their erosion control measures. We are excited to get the permit in hand and start to turn everyone loose! Soon we will have the site scraped and can start to get our dirt work really underway.

One interesting thing that has come up so far in our review of the work with the excavator is the amount of dirt we need to bring in. The underground water table goes through our property in such a way that it requires us to truck in a significant amount of extra dirt so that we can put our building up on a hill. On top of that we need to drill some deep helical piers down to the bedrock. Going to be interesting watching those go in!
